Pee
Ezra has adopted the word pee into his very small vocabulary.
AND, has determined that he is just simply not interested in wearing diapers anymore. He prefers big boy underwear. And the toilet. Apparently he has decided to potty train himself. He is 100% determined to use the potty and does so multiple times a day. This cracks me up. he doesn't talk but he is going on the toilet and wearing underwear.
Related to me.
Ummm. Yeah.

Big Boy
Ezra is growing up. This picture is from the fall. He has had several haircuts since then but I am having trouble with my camera so this picture will have to do for now. He is so awesome. Fun loving. Happy go lucky. Very active. Fascinated with cars, tractors, motorcycles and machines of any sort. He likes to run and pound on things. I am sure he is a typical boy-- climbs all over everything, has no fear. But since I don't know any other little boys that well...it's all new and fascinating to me. He is still a good sleeper though he is starting to protest bedtime a little more now and then. He sings and hums all the time, which I love. He can say Mom, mommy, mama, adam, dog, uh-oh, and he chimes in on the two if you count One, two, three for him. Loves to wrestle and play rough...all that stuff.
He gives very brief but sweet hugs and will let you kiss him but doesn't kiss you. Gives high five and knuckles. Loves dogs. Loves his blue blanket. Won't sleep with out it. Also he is a voracious milk drinker-- which he did not get from my side of the family.
Love you Ez.

I love this kid
He is walking now. And today when I dropped him off at daycare he walked over to the garden at the daycare and was busy picking cherry tomatoes with the other kids. I said "Bye Ezra" and he turned and looked right at me, smiled and said "bye."
He also hugs me when he wakes up in the morning now. Very sweet.

Dear Ezra
Dear Ezra Jubal,
Thank you for making my life 110% better. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey...you'll never know dear how much I love you...
and your rosy little cheeks (all 4 of them), and your light this whole town smile, and your curious face, and your serious face...
Love you forever,
Mom

Happy Half Birthday Buddy!
Winter Solstice came and Ezra started eating food and turned 6 months old this week! He eats homemade oat cereal. I blend up 1/4 c. organic whole oat groats, steel cut oats or regular oats in the blender, then cook in 1 c. boiling water for 5 minutes constantly stirring with a wisk. Then add water, breast milk or formula to desired consistency. Once he got used to the oats we started adding (no sugar added) applesauce. He loves it--almost as much as he loves listening to his voice! We will see what he thinks about sweet potatoe next week. I love watching him try food out and learn to eat. He is so funny! Soon we will be trying Millet and then Quinoa...But the change in diaper contents-- I'm not gonna lie...it's not zesty.
